This February we want to propose an activity for nature lovers: to meet one of the most striking ducks nesting in the Iberian Peninsula: the Shelduck.
A bird with a peculiar aspect, halfway between the duck and goose, which inhabits un estuaries and shores of saline lakes. In Spain, it can be found in the wetlands of the province of Alicante, the marshes of the Guadalquivir, the Mar Menor and the Ebro delta. So, on Sunday 28 February, the Natural Park of La Mata – Torrevieja, proposes the “Duck + Goose = Shelduck” activity. A simple and interesting equation that will allow us to deepen the life and habits of this particular species.
If you want to participate, just send an email to parque_lamata@gva.es. The activity is free and limited spaces, so hurry up!
