– Me encanta la voz aterciopelada de Nat King Cole. ¡Qué sensibilidad! Y esta canción, en particular, tiene algo mágico que me hechiza. – Esta canción es la BSO de una película protagonizada por David Bowie. Pero la melodía de esta canción me trae recuerdos de mi infancia por otro motivo. Fue la música utilizada en una obra de teatro de sombras chinas en la que intervine grabando mi voz a los siete años. Desde entonces y hasta hoy, Ryuichi Sakamoto ha sido uno de mis compositores fetiche.
El vídeo es una versión en directo de 1996… Pero el mismo Sakamoto ha realizado diferentes versiones a lo largo de los años. Esta es mi preferida. Siempre me emociona.
This song is the soundtrack of a film starring David Bowie. But the melody of this song reminds me of my childhood for another reason. It was the music used in a play of shadow play in which I participated recording my voice when I was seven years old. From then until today, Ryuichi Sakamoto has been one of my fetish composers.
The video is a live version of 1996 … But the same Sakamoto has made different versions over the years. This is my favorite. I’m always excited.
